Robert Yager

Robert Yager, AIA is a Senior Associate with MAI design group and a registered Architect.  Rob graduated from the State University of New York at Alfred in 1987 with an accredited degree in Architectural Technology.  He initially worked as a Designer/Draftsman and Intern Architect for an AIA award-winning firm in Rochester, N.Y., on projects ranging from museums and churches to office complexes and justice facilities; and from new construction to historic restoration. From 1993 to 1997 Rob oversaw design and construction of the Newseum, a national museum of print and broadcast media, in Arlington, Virginia.

In 1997 Rob relocated to Denver, Colorado, to work as an Architectural Project Manager, facilitating design and construction of projects for hotels, resorts, spas, galleries, and casinos, as well as office and retail buildings. Rob has more than 20 years experience in architectural design, space planning, construction document preparation, and construction administration; as a Project Manager he has completed projects with budgets up to $50 million in seven states.  At MAI Rob has managed several projects from design through occupancy, including the renovation and expansion of Valley Country Club and the historic Cherry Hills Country Club in Colorado, and Bella Collina (Golf Inc. magazine’s 2008 “Clubhouse of the Year”) and The Conservatory at Hammock Beach in Florida.  Rob holds current registrations in New York and Colorado.
